Perfect as a gift or adding that extra special touch to the Christmas table, these cookies are so tasty, fun to make with the kids and lovely to have on hand over the holidays, or any day!
The ingredients:
- 100 grams butter
- 250 grams Wild Nectar Organic or Pure honey
- 150 grams icing sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 500 grams plain flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 egg
The magic:
- Place soft butter, icing sugar, Wild Nectar Honey and spices into mixing bowl, and mix to combine. Add flour, baking powder, egg and mix with a dough hook or hand knead until dough consistency forms.
- Cool dough for 2 hours. Preheat oven to 170 degrees. Roll out dough on floured surface to approx 5mm thickness and cut biscuits with cookie cutters.
- Bake in preheated oven for approx. 10 mins at 170 degrees. Keep a close eye on the cookies as they can brown quickly!
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool, then dust with a little extra icing sugar to serve.
